Even if you choose not to pursue the IPMA® certification, you will receive a certificate of completion, which can help further your career.

Module 1 of Aros Project Management Program (IPMA®):

Project Management – Overview (2 days)

In this module, you will gain an understanding of key project management aspects, including different project models like waterfall, stage-gate, and agile. You’ll learn to balance time, content, and resources, manage various participant types, build strong teams, and apply situational leadership.

Project Initiation (2 days)

In this module, you’ll learn how to set achievable goals within time and budget constraints. You’ll also focus on stakeholder identification, communication, project organization, milestone planning, and quality management.

Module 3 of Aros Project Management Program (IPMA®):

Project Planning (2 days)

This module provides tools for developing project plans, understanding WBS, estimating the need for resources, identifying the critical path, conducting risk analysis, and facilitating planning processes.

Module 4 of Aros Project Management Program (IPMA®):

Project Leadership (2 days)

This module focuses on enhancing your project leadership. It includes leadership theory, emotional intelligence, team management, effective meeting leadership, personal feedback, and addressing common project management dilemmas.

Progress measurement on the project

Module 6 of Aros Project Management Program (IPMA®):

Projects, Change, and Benefits Realization (2 days)

In this module, you will understand how projects fit into the larger picture. You’ll learn about program and portfolio management, how organizational strategy is realized through projects, and how to lead changes successfully. The module concludes with a look forward to a career as a project manager.

Holistic understanding of project management and your own leadership
Plan for IPMA’s certification process
Summary and overview of the entire course

Optional: IPMA® certification D in collaboration with Danish Project Management

At an orientation meeting with Dansk Projektledelse, you can get guidance on the appropriate certification level. If you choose “D,” the following four steps apply:

Introduction session: Guidance on using the “Competencies in Project Management” self-assessment tool. You will work on exercises to complete your CV and self-assessment, while also being briefed on the scope and format of the written exam. Duration: 4 hours.
CV and self-assessment: You will prepare a CV and conduct a self-assessment, which you then submit for evaluation by assessors.
Written exam: The exam takes place in Allerød or Vejle and lasts 3 hours. No aids are allowed. Format: Multiple choice questions and open-ended questions.
Assessor evaluation:Assessors compile their evaluations into a response letter, and if your results meet the minimum requirements, a certificate is issued, valid for five years.

Note:The IPMA certification itself is an optional add-on through Dansk Projektledelse. An IPMA-D certification costs 8,500 DKK ex. VAT. If you choose not to pursue IPMA certification, you will still receive a certificate confirming completion of our training, ensuring your skills are documented.

Strong Academic Curriculum

Before the course begins, you will receive the curriculum, which you will study over the next four months. It includes a comprehensive mix of books, articles, and videos, totalling around 600 pages.

The curriculum and materials are included in the price of the Aros Project Management Program (IPMA®). If you register close to the start date and are unsure whether you will receive the materials for the first module in time, please contact us via chat or email, and we will find a solution.

‘Bruttolønsordning’ Payment Option

Opt-Out of IPMA® Exam and Receive a Course Certificate

If you are more focused on gaining the tools and less concerned about earning IPMA® certification, you can choose not to take the IPMA® exam and instead receive a certificate titled “Aros Project Management Program (IPMA).” This choice is entirely up to you and can be made later in the course.

Mark

Mark is an engaging and passionate instructor who has experienced much and can relate the theory to the realities of the participants.

He is a former senior director for the ‘Global Project Management Office’ at Danfoss and has worked as a leader at Saab and Fujitsu/Siemens among others.

Over the past many years, Mark has specialized as a consultant and instructor in project management and portfolio management, leadership, and organizational development.

He originally trained in electrical engineering at Aarhus University and has a number of educations and certifications that he draws upon in his teaching.
